This power protection device is a four outlet relocatable power tap (power strip) with a single mode of surge protection. This allows for up to four different devices to receive power and be protected from surges and spikes on the hot, neutral and ground lines when plugged into the back of the unit. This also has a patented feature of being able to pass surge protected 12 volt power from its top power port to PowerCore® devices. With the add on modules this can also protect LAN, telephone or coaxial lines at the same time. If the surge protection fails, this unit allows for the replacement of the surge protection without replacing the entire unit.
